Chris Gibson
LL.B, Notary Public
Chris specialises in conveyancing and estate administration. He graduated from the University of Auckland in 1978 and, after an initial three years in practice in Gisborne, moved to Taupo where he spent the next 24 years in law (21 years as a sole practitioner). He joined Carlile Dowling in late 2005. Chris was appointed a Notary Public in April 1989.
His main areas of practice are:
- Residential conveyancing, refinancing and subdivisions
- Estate administration including Wills, Powers of Attorney and Probate
- Notarial work including provision of certificates of authentication, ship's protests and verifications
